Once a new Member signs up creating their unique ID. and PASSWORD by filing out the pre-activation form or going directly to the checkout process where as a new customer they will also create or use the unique ID. and PASSWORD their Membership will be ACTIVATED and CONFIRMED via email.
With their activation the new member will have Product Manager Priveledges to log into Electric-Attic's Administration pages that will allow them to list, describe, upload images, and enter various attributes (price,size,color,quantity,and relevant "keywords") regarding the item or items they would like to list in Electric-Attic's StoreFront.
The member will learn how to perform this as well as create and assign the various CATEGORIES to their items.
Once the item has been submitted to the STORE it will be immediately available for sale and the tracking of transactions will be performed automatically including emailed notifications or inquiries.
As indicated before, the shipping,handling,and transaction costs are automatically added to the buyer's total.
If a Member elects to submit a listing to eBay the additional listing fees will be charged to the member or deducted from the proceeds of the sale.
Because of the unique features integrated into Electric-Attic's Store Hosting Service ("ProStores" an "eBay" company) all items listed in the store are submited on a weekly basis to the "GoogleBase" and "Yahoo Shopping" and become searchable in about 24 hours.
"PayPal" (also an eBay company) is integrated into Electric-Attic's store and has been configured to accept and process most major CreditCards. By helping to setup Members with their own eBay and PayPal accounts the member has the option to have proceeds from their sale go directly into their account without having to wait for a check from Electric-Attic.
Electric-Attic invites visitors to the site to sign up for a free monthly newsletter which offers subjects of interest relating to creative and cultural aspects as well as featured members. The Members receive a newsletter relating to business tips and member input.
Personal web pages with links to that members listings are a sourse of contact information and other information the Member would like to include (eg: map to their store,business, or gallery location on Google Earth).
Every listing member receives the benefit of Electric-Attic's Search Engine Optimization/Marketing, Email Marketing, Affiliate Store Promotions, Google Adwords/Adsense.(We use a very comprehensive software program to analyze and optimize Electric-Attic's web pages and keywords; to submit our pages to over 100 search engines; analyze and contact prospective partner sites; and monitor site traffic in great detail.) We use a paid subscription of WebCEO.
